Managed services in the communications sector have historically focussed on the support of network operators’ critical systems and network infrastructure. However, many operators are now looking beyond their own infrastructure and asking more broadly how managed services can support their business. In response to increasing competitive pressure, communications providers are seeking to get ahead by using insights from customer, competitive, and network data – such as customer demographics, net promoter scores, competitor offers, and network performance – to optimise their operations and improve their bottom line.
